[FINNISH TEAM] Project partners from Finland organized the mixed-seminar and dissemination event in the Humak campus in Helsinki.
During the event we discussed findings from the project with different professionals, project participants as well as Humak’s students. We also spoke about the development of study options and services for young people with mental health issues, neurodiversity or foreign background and lack of Finnish language skills.
Event participants apricated the most the actual experiences and discussion with young people who participated in the project. Active part played in the event also Humak’s special pedagogy students, who had visited different university spaces around Helsinki with the smaller groups of young people interested in higher education studies. Their wish is to develop the special pedagogy studies in a way that the students and future professionals would be able to better support young people with mental health issues and neurodiversity.
