Last Friday was our last session with young people who took part in participatory action research. Many great discussions, even more great ideas have been created during the sessions. We will do our best to make the knowledge and experiences of young people visible in an academic environment.
During the sessions we also worked with empowering photography approach. Participants who were interested to take polaroid camera with them, could capture moments from their life situations, that were somehow connected with the discussed topics. For today we chose the photograph called “Expertise” that was taken by our participant Annika: “I just came into an empty auditorium at the Aalto University. There was no one, so I started to speak non-senses with the huge tittle “expertise” behind my back.”
